Govt needs to control the prices of cotton: H. K. L. Magu

SMEs will be unable to book orders from buyers, if the price of cotton is not controlled by the government, said H. K. L. Magu, Director, Magsons Exports in an exclusive interview to SME Times.

Is the impact of recession over by now?
Magu: Yes, recession is over but not in the real context. Actually, until and unless the sales in USA improve (the retail sales) buyers will not be able to book more orders. In fact, consumers in US are following the concept of saving money as they have never faced recession earlier. The situation has been bad and people had to sell their houses. Now, they are saving money. They are reluctant to invest at the moment. In fact, the buyers did not have the budget to buy a lot of merchandise. view complete complete interview..
